in honor of my birthday, i decided i'd go ahead and get some of my suspension stuff out of the way and just ordered a set of secchi TC rods and a projectnissan torque dampner. everyone seems to be sold out of tein TC rods so i wen't with these as i've heard quite a bit of good stuff on them and they were $40 less (plus free shipping). the torque dampner should also reduce the chance of my manifold cracking and possibly help my rattling exhaust problem. now i just need some swaybars, rear upper control arms, and maybe a set of kei office coilovers and i'll be set
thanks everyone! and it was actually already a good one (it was last friday) but i couldn't have asked for anything better than spending it with a ton of awesome people and watch some of the best sliding i've seen .
you shoulda told me i missed your b-day on day2 of FD. sorry i missed it. well happy belated bday mr cody. enjoy your parts when they get there.....what am i saying.....i know you will!
Sounds good , If i was u i wouldnt worry about a front sway bar I'd get the tanabe rear drift spec one its like 35mm thats what i got .....Also j-spec has the rear seat belt tie bars for s14 right now real cheap only place Ive ever seen them fro the s14....Check it out.
yea, i think the rear tanabe will soon be on the way (i wanna get one here before the untouchable in june). also, my stuff came in today (i've yet to install it) and i also picked up a nice pair of S03's from GT . not sure how those will slide (supposed to be some of the grippier tires around), but i might toss them up front and see how it goes. now i really need 2 more 350 wheels though.
well as my luck would typically go, it doesn't look like the 5 minute engine dampner install will go as planned. i just went down to put it on and it appears that 1 of the strut tower bolts is f'd up (it will turn but won't come off) and the actual dampner won't clear my hot pipe . looks like a little ghetto fabrication will be in the works for this weekend.
