this is the second set of "purple" grips that i've ordered and they keep showing up fuchsia-y. the old pair got really pink after a couple days in the sun.
car is looking really good byron!
Re: ~ Post a Picture of Your Ride ~
Finally Byron! Looks awesome. Now you need LED tails.
Also Patrick the purple Oury grips are pretty purple. I think shawn has a pair on his bike and they aren't Fucia-y

Re: ~ Post a Picture of Your Ride ~
well because I didn't really do any research for write ups before starting I wasn't sure how they were assembled. I thought the factory lenses were constructed like the replacement ones. the factory lenses sit inside a channel filled with sealant while the replacements sit flush on top of the channel. you dont need to pry them at all. what worked best for alex and I was to pop off the clips, then heat the seam/joint all the way around with a heat gun for several minutes until the plastic is hot (wear thick gloves) to the touch then just pull them apart. avoid tools because the plastic is super melty. The seal is really tight so it takes a good bit of convincing. a razor is handy to cut through the mozzarella sealant as you pull them apart. then its just a matter of resealing them with a thick line of RTV and tapping them up to dry for a couple hours.
