The last model year Subaru I remember absolutely falling in love with was this:
I always liked an older, squarer, Legacy GT (2 model years before) that came out to the ATL auto-crosses, but when that one was announced I instantly fell in love.
Incidentally, I've found myself looking at older Foresters a lot lately.

Oh weird. And I was just starting to fall for the current generation, that seems to happen every time. Not sure how a car company consistently makes cars that I initially think look awful but end up loving after a while.
