I started reading rolls & pleats in my dads store. Great mag.

They change the format to a standard mag and you can find it around more places now if you look for it. Used to be small like 8x5".

Not so ratrod but The Rodders Journal is an amazing magazine as well.

Ol' Skool rods is pretty good too, but there are a lot of SBCs in there.

yeah.. real old school rods have to rock flatheads.. if not.. then inline 4's built to the hilt.. like Iron Duke.

oh yeah.. 4bbl carbs are for wusses.. it's all about the triple doubles etc.

on top of ckdeluxe.. check out olskoolrodz.com.. they have all the cute betties. :) they have a great pin-up section on their forum. :D

I heart Able Asphalt. Screwdriver door hinges FTW.

There's something about unsmoothed, raw exposed welds... painted flat black that gives me a tingly feeling in mah pants.

i so agree with you on that one...but its so expensive. if i had money i would start one from scratch cuz you can buy a new chassis...man, one day, one day

it's funny.. with rat rods.. the most expensive rods are the ones made with all original stuff.. such as frame, motors, suspensions, drivetrains, and bodies...

all the repro ratrods are worth like 1/2 of the original built ones.. even though the original ones are truly messed up... a true rat. :)
