yeah haven't been able to get out there b/c my schedule sux... but i'm gettin my car this weekend and am hoping to make it to some kind of meet on satuday night somewhere... if i can find one and my car stops over heating...

well i seem to be pretty late but welcome to the forum anyway dude. there are a lot of cool people on this furm who would love to argue about all kinds of neet stuff. you can really learn a lot.

airBORNE: hey guys, the o2 fix is working great. still no CEL!!!!!! passed emissions too.

wanted to know opinions on motor swaps for the GC8. anybody had experience with GDB/GD8 engines in GC8s? realizing now that swapping an STi VI Type RA engine with Type RA transmission would cost a whole mountain of arms and legs. so trying to figure next best option. looking to produce somewhere around 300 whp. figured i could achieve this with a stage 2 or 3 upgrade on the Ver6 STi engine without much hasle. could be wrong though.

any help would be great.

thanks for the link!!!.......although funds are on the very low side for awhile. but otherwise,would i need to go with the 6spd tranny? or can i stick with a 5spd?
