Lord, I feel you on that. Honestly, thats why I don't really post on BMW forums at all.
Yup I feel the same in the Lexus online community.. a few there think it rocks to drift the "classic VIP" gs300, and a lot of others are just flamers.. haha
Anyways man, keep it up that e30 rawks.

Lord, I feel you on that. Honestly, thats why I don't really post on BMW forums at all. I post on e46fanatics.com occasionally... but I can't stand all the flaming from people too stuck up to actually drive their cars... let alone understand why I do what I do to/in my BMW. My favorite comment is always "I wish I had money to waste tires like that", and "what a waste of tires".
I won't generalize though... drifting has come a long way with the BMW community. There are a lot of people who are into it, and a growing number of BMW owners who are actually drifting.
You can definitely post all the pics you want here... and never get flamed. Your car is fwaaaking dick... and I LOVE IT!!!
I can't wait to see how that wing looks... that sounds crazy!
thanks man. ill be posting pics as things progress and the season starts. got most of my cage in today..finishing it tomorrow night. and then hopefully fitting my wing sometime tomorrow or later this week. then paint shortly after....gonna see bout some new/extra wheels when i get to work tomorrow(discount tire)
btw andy...wheres the pics of your car? i know you've gotta be changing shit around here and there..

Hahaha... I actually hadn't touched the car since I shattered my collarbone in September. I cranked it up on New Years eve to ring in the new year... but other than that, she's just been sitting.
I've got tonnns of work to do now, hahaha. 1st thing on the list... strip all the graphics off.

I will definitely post up pics as work gets done for '08.
Are you sponsored by DC?

A li'l bit of both. The car needs something fresh. I've had this scheme for 2 seasons now... and I want to change it up a bit. I would love to repaint it... but funds are low. We'll have to see.
I'm with you. I'd love a product sponsorship with DC. I heart their shoes... and their race shoe is just plain sex!

word..cant wait to see it. your car has the best pants/styling of any e46 ive seen yet. i love drift cars. they have style and show personality. not just some other run of the mill honda or nissan street/race car.
ya a product sponsorship would be baller as hell..i might have to get a pair of their race shoes. considering i really only wear DC shoes cuz there so damn comfy..lol

You guys ever try sending a sponsor me video to DC?
Maybe they will do it skate style and make you "flow"... where they just send you free clothes and stuff haha. That would be cool in it self to me.

DC's kinda tricky to track down the right person. we've been trying to get them to do something with us at the mag and never really had any luck. osiris did send us a ton of stuff though (3 pairs of shoes, 6 hats, and a bag), although they're not doing any race stuff yet. it'd be neat if they did try something in that direction though.

dude i've been wearing osiris shoes for like 3 years now. their stuff is great. i'd love to be involved if they ever get into drifting.
i thought about sending them a sponsor me tape but i have no idea how that stuff works. sometimes i wish there was a class or something on how to get sponsored.
i think the next shoes i'm getting are gonna be these

or these
sorry to thread jack, i've been doing that alot lately

Your car is like my inspiration lol.
Been waiting to finally see some Good pictures of it.
Very dick though. I show guys at work (bmw junkyard here in GA) and they all just ask why you run the "wrong size tire" or say its too low or something. *frustration* haha.
Keep it dick, and make sure to post when you get the cage in!
