Ha. Page 2 of this thread is a total departure from page 1 or the thread at all, or even the fucking forum. Panda's post alone (including sig and avatar) is like it's own god damn awesome webpage.

At FOERST you see David, black man, white shirt, spinning out. Then the best drift at 40seconds you can see the white shirt has moved to the passenger seat and a white boy, dark shirt, driving. Pausing in the 47-49sec. range you may detect this:

He does credit those helping him, but I think he still has more to learn...
drifting and otherwise. :)
Okay, I wasn't going to join, I enjoy popping in from time to time because you guys are seriously funny and the videos/pictures you all post are awesome . . . that said. . . I don't think it's fair that you made a "call out" post on a forum in which I was not a member.

In the future, if you have a problem with a video I post up, by all means, email me, make a comment on the video, do something to let ME know that I'm an idiot and need to give credit or make credit a little more obvious.

I see what you are saying, yes, if you're just watching through it does seem like I'm making it seem like that's my driving, but asking anyone I've shown the video to will reveal that this simply isn't the case. I never, at all, wanted it to sound like I went from almost GTA-4ing people into a wall to boiling smoke off the tires in a matter of 4 or 5 runs. To this day I still have trouble holding a good slide. What I was simply saying is that, to get from where I was/am to where that driver is, takes practice and ride alongs from other drivers (at least from my experience)

Look . . .*sigh*

I made huge mistakes in the past. I was (and to some extent still am) an idiot. I lied, I created false images and I was very . . .VERY stupid. I lost two great friends, Amanda and Chris, because of my lies and I realized that in no way was it worth it. They would have been my friends regardless of if I were a pro or barely new what a car was. I lost that and I can never regain that level of trust with them, but I'll be damned if I stop trying. So far they went from not even speaking to me, to joking with me and letting me voice the Spartanburg event (even though I kinda mucked a pole, LOL)

I don't know what you want from me . . . if you want an apology for my past, I will say again, I publicly, sincerely and humbly apologize for my actions. I honestly have no idea, looking back on it, why I did what I did and said what I said. All I know is that I now realize how much of an imbecile I was and if I could go back and change it all, I would. Friendships and the life in this wonderful art form we call drifting means more to me than anything. That's why I'm so willing to admit that I was worse than any word the English language has a word for. But I'm going to keep going.

If you want me to stop drifting, that won't happen. Sorry . . . I'm just now starting to get the hang of it and I'm finally starting to be able to drive beyond what my car is capable of. I started actively drifting in the beginning of this year in a red Miata and I couldn't complete a run without spinning AT LEAST twice. I got into the Bullitt and wasn't able to even get the car sideways. I went from that to being able to hold a bank at Lanier Speedway . . . I'm just getting it and I won't stop anytime soon, if ever.

I honestly don't know what you're looking for. If you need me to pull the video down, edit it and give credit to the driver of the car at the time, I can do that.

IT WAS NOT ME DRIVING THE CAR WHEN IT MADE THE CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD OF SMOKE!!! LOL!

I believe the driver's name was Tony, but I'm not absolutely sure of that so I didn't want to sit there and say "Yeah, Tony was killing it and then Erick comes up and says "Hey that was me!"

I'll step down now, and if the administrators and moderators wish to disable my account that's fine, but please leave this post. I only joined to post this so I can, indeed, defend myself upon this and let EVERYONE here know that I in no way was trying to say that I wanted to make it seem that I was the one driving the car at that point in the video.

Thank you for your time,
David Adams

nice post. I will say the editing was a bit weird and to an outsider could be misconstrued but in the end its a internet video with 56 views. not that big a deal.

keep hitting events.

Haha, thanks guys, hopefully I can get good enough this year to actually sustain the entire course consistently, I had a blast at Lanier and I can't wait to keep on keepin on.

Andy, I owe you 20 bucks, at Spartanburg (you probably forgot) I promised you I'd buy 2 shirts when I had a chance to hit an ATM, we got so caught up in the day that I never got around to it and every time I see you at an event I'm like, I need to get this guy his 20 bucks, LOL!

I'll be at the D.O event cheering you all on (not driving, money>me), bring some shirts, I'll bring some cash.
