sorry to hear that man, it seems like everyday i hear another [person i know is getting laid off, thier hrs cut, downsizing, overworked, pay cut, benefits loss, all this shit.
i do not make alot of money but i do have a steady job. i work for Burke Co. as a Firefighter/EMT-i and we are always hiring & training (paid) people in classes that start about every 4-6 months. this is obviously not a job for everyone and i wouldn't feel comfortable working with someone who is obviously just here to pay the bills, you have to have your heart into it bc you see some real shit and have to rely on your bros & trust them with your life. If you think you could do something like this then i think you could look around and find a similar agency/ program in your area. I comfortably pay my bills and still have some play money.
Good luck man, tough times are here and i am happy i have job security

I appreciate the suggestion man, but I've already been there & chose a different path. (EPFD & PCFD for a few years.) As a single father, the scheduling, earning potential, and career mobility just didn't work out for me.

If you can sell on commission only (we're too broke to really pay ourselves these days), you can try to sell some ads for S3. Really hate to hear that though, hope things work out alright.
