"kit lens" photographers are considered "Media" at events like this because it's a LOCAL PRACTICE EVENT.

If you want to play with the "Big Dogs", go to a big event.

And yes, I AM a big dog. Second generation PROFESSIONAL A/V producer as a matter of fact, & not just a college kid who took some 101 classes, learned how to do some post shoot digital touch-up (I actually really like the HDR-esque effect you used, by the way), and upgraded from "kit lenses". I've been in "the business" for years, put in serious hours in the field, and I think some of the shots coming from the local level are incredible. Check your ego at the door kid. It won't fly around here.

(BTW: If I'm coming off as rude, Fuck Off.)
I didn't know you did A/V stuff Wes.. got any stuff I can look at via pm if you don't wants to share? :D

its ok. i wont be posting my pics here anymore i wont even bother.

if anyone has a ego, you might want to look in the mirror. i'm sorry you had to spend money to take classes to make you a "big dog." i have never taken a photography class or photoshop class in my life. i'm actually going to school for something completely not photography related.

i always some how come across to be really cocky and have a big ego. everyone starts putting words in my mouth. where did i say i wanted to play with the big dogs?

vtakmedia isnt even something completely serious, just a group of guys i put together that enjoy cars and photography / video. everything is for shits and giggles. if it goes somewhere, cool, if not, well at least we had fun in the process.

anyways sorry for wasting everyone's time, feel free to delete my account.

im out.

"Did" being the key word. Worked with my father for several years, but got out of it a couple of years ago when he decided to drop most of his "freelance" accounts & focus more on the AJC gig. (Alot of good that did him. The fuckers laid him off last summer after two decades of service.) That's what originally got me to look into IT.

I don't have anything great to share, but here are a couple of small projects we did locally.

Tour Atlanta for AJC Cars:

Stop Motion for the Peachtree Road Race:
