The car "looks" good but I agree you should hold onto the 14.

I've been into 944's at long as I can remember, and I'll tell you these cars are far from "crap". They are VERY reliable, just ask anyone on the Rennlist forums, capable of handling 200k+ miles on a well maintained motor. I'm stressing the words WELL MAINTAINED. There are only a few weak points on these cars - Timing Belts, Water Pumps, and Headgaskets need to be replaced ON TIME, every time. Otherwise these cars are pretty much as reliable as any other import. My dad has owned around 7 944's and currently has a 944 S2 Cabriolet, a 944 Turbo-S, and a 944 S2 Race car that regularly wins autocrosses and holds its own in the PCA Club races at Road Atlanta. I'm not here to brag, just to say that these cars are highly underrated in their performance potential for the price. Take this for example, on the 944 Turbo-S (247 hp stock) you can do a little as chipping it, then slapping on a test pipe and your already looking at 300hp easily...all that with those sexy wide fenders and go-kart handling, what more could you ask for? All four of our 944's couldn't add up to the value of a new 911, which says alot. I paid 4,500 bucks for my 944 and I've loved every minute of driving it, and I've learned a ton about them doing all the work on it, so thats why I'm so inclined to chime in on this.
