yea, i don't wanna sound obnoxious but that is kinda high in my opinion. i only paid a coupld grand more for mine which had well over $10k in extra goodies on it (although that dead motor kinda sucked, but i still came out somewhat alright considering all the other crap it had). also, even though your motor only has 50k, most people still look at the odometer and make their judgements off that (which is pretty high). having a new engine is awesome, but that still won't take the age off the body, suspension, interior, etc. people will always ask a ton for 240's, but when i was looking for a stock-ish zenkei, i wasn't gonna pay over $5k.

good luck with everything though, and hope you come out with something cool in the end! (i still think you should keep the 2-fizzle for a while though ).

yea...i guess you're right. I'm probably just going to ask for $6,900 and take no less than $6K.

i wouldnt sell the 240...what i heard from my friend who fixes porsches...says dont ever get it, but that is just waht i heard so it may very from person to person.
and as for the price...i woulndt go lower then 6 for it. some guy will buy it, i mean come on...i sold my 90 maxima with few goodies to a HS kid for 4k and the tranny was bad (blew it in a month and lost his license for racing) HAHAH

I think it's a decent price. I looked on autotrader and they are going for arounf 7-8g's. I'm selling mine for close to that amount. I looked at about 20-25 before I bought mine and they were all ragged out. I got lucky and got mine from a 17 year old high school girl. Good luck, man.

i'd say since the 240 is hot right, bump up the price atleast 500 bucks or so or and just say OBO... someone will buy it... but from 240 to 240 owner, I wouldn't sell it. You can easily mod your car with less of what ur going to pay for a Porche and have a true demon on the street.

Once you play around with a Porche and you break it, its gonna be big money to put it back together.

I know how fun 240 are/can be. Every time I ride in Chad's I get gitty! But let's face it....in my given situation (Porkchip), the chances of me tuning the 240 any further are slim to none. So, I'll end up looking around, seeing all these badass 240s/Silvias and getting nothing but pissed b/c I can't do the same to mine. At the moment, I'd rather have something that I won't (and can't, really) tune other than suspension, yet still get some respect in the automotive world.
Selling the 240 will actually improve my finacial situation. Hypothetically, if I sell the 14 for $6K (at the least), buy a 944 for $5K, I'll have an extra grand to fall back on. B/C as of right now, I can barely afford gas for the damn thing. And since both cars are paid for, there won't be a difference in insurance. Not to mention, I can probably get ahold of a cheap beater/daily driver from my dad's dealership.

This whole Porsche idea is merely an idea that I would really like to check into. And it seems like now, is just as good of a time as any. But I have NOT ruled out keeping the 14 or just buying a SR powered 13.

Either way...I greatly appreciate ya'lls opinions and input. They keep me open minded

fuck drifting. buy a subaru. it'll last long enough so that you won't have to buy porkchip a car when the time comes. by then you should be stable enough to get another 240 and you'll even save money on buying antique plates.

Hey i sold my old 94 civic with 200,000miles on it for 4200$ so i think you could sell about about anything to the fast and furios HS kids, I dono how they are getting finaced but this kid did. But it did have a lot of work done to it.
