back on topic. my cel comes on all the time. struka told me to check and make sure the engine is still there. it is so i don't know why the light would be on. i think it's a short.

yea the CEL is just for you to check if the engine is still there...when that goes off and you have checked that the engine is there then there might be a short (like patrick said) or the engine fuse is popped.
