imo when you get a drift started, just work it out with the throttle. i learned how to gain a lot mer speed on my road course races by drifting the sweeping turns that lead into the tighter ones. i will run the car in too hot for the tires and get a slight slip angle, then i work it out with the gas. that is just me, my advice just drive and find out what works for you.

That's the ticket! You can only learn so much by reading & watching videos. It's not 'til you're out there trying to swing it out that the puzzle pieces start to fit.

well i like to drift kinda high speed.(140-160KPH) one thing i like to do is use fatty tires all the way around. i liked using 10JJ wheels all the way around. using fatties can help as well as hinder your drifts. it can help because you can come into the turn way too hot and use the grip of the tires to slow you down to the right speed in preperation for the apex of the turn. on the flip side of that same turn the fatties can hinder under powered cars from keeping the rear end out.

! nice

How do I learn if Im not comfortable actually getting out there and doing it . How can I learn the technique ?

get out there and do it anyway
but seriously, that is pretty much the only way. you can watch videos and read up on some of the stuff, but nothing will remotely compare to actually trying it in a car.

Ok I will man up (thats not even possible) and get out there and make mistakes and learn from them ?

werd, that's how to do it. just go out there with a good attitute, expect to make some mistakes, but keep practicing and you'll eventually start to get it. either that, or your car will break every time (cough...me

).

not quite (it's front wheel drive, and that doesn't work in the drift game)
