I wish I hadn't gone interior crazy because I miss my front carpet.

And if you put all that stuff in a pile and weigh it, you're looking at 50 lbs max. But if you start chipping off all the sound dampener thats a different story. Then again I don't know how much an S13 really has of that.

peter said he took nearly 50 to 75 pounds of just sound deadning out.

stuff is pretty dense.

s13 interior plastics barely weigh anything, door panels are stupid light and so is the carpet. theres no need to get rid of all that stuff.

i took all my trunk interior out and now i wish i had carpet back there so i could put stuff other than wheels and tools back there

i dont miss the sound deadening one bit. viperbite statement is pretty accurate on sound deadening weight....i lost about the same with my s13 coupe. miss my door panels but love my cage more. rear interior panels being gone....eh whatever. i did put new carpet down in the front against my awesome all knowing mechanics advice.........i like having it. just a nice little comfort i guess. now if i ever go far enough to get to the point where it is required to not have carpet at all, i will gladly remove it.

I'm too lazy to strip out an interior... so I just kept it all. Plus.. I figure I could probably take a crap and lose more weight.
