megan and ssautochrome no difference, made in taiwan still haha. Am just going back to OEM untill I can afford Signal Auto's exhaust manifold =D.

I bought some engine paint in black so i'll just spray the manifold and elbow hehe.

T25? thats a tiny little turbo.... oh wait, thats about all a piston motor can spool.

still, a T25 is pretty small compared to the stock turbo on an FC. the FC has an Hitachi HT18 with a 1.00a/r. its a very large looking hotside.

lol, its cool. i'm not trying to start anything. just stating that the exhaust pulses of a rotary are stronger then most 4cyl piston motors so we can spool larger turbo's faster. thats why we have 1.00a/r's stock when you have around half that. its just whatever works with the application. i never said one was better then the other.

yea, i'm not a huge fan of the stock 25 but at least i've got that FPbig28 on there now (which is good for 300-330 or so, and that should be plenty for now).

yea, i cranked it up and it seems to be fine (altough one line out of the turbo didn't get put back on and it sprayed all kinds of oil, but we fixed that). i still haven't driven it around though but i'm gonna try to get a cat or test pipe today and put my exhaust back together.

oh, and still no luck with chad's unfortunately.

well, after searching for a high flow cat or test pipe for about an hour now, i finally have something on the way. my FOERST thought was to order the megan test pipe earlier this week, however i decided i'd rather try to just find a cat locally to speed up the process (and keep me emissions friendly, however looks like i'll have to find my way around that now). i checked nopi's site and they said they have 3" universals in stock, so the plan was to run down yesterday and pick one up. that all went wrong when i ended up having to work until almost 7:00, so i decided i'd take a day off from class this morning to check. as it figures, they didn't have any at either of the local stores so that idea was gone.
my next idea for getting something fast was to call a local muffler shop, so i hit up george foreman over at meineke. mind you these are the guys that wanted $60 to put a gasket in my exhaust, so i was a little worried they'd be high. they wanted $190 for the high flow cat, $50+ to install, and probably another $60 or so to put flanges on there. that was obviously stupid so i said no thanks.
finally, i just decided i'd see what shops keep test pipes in stock and i found a few, going from $50 or so on up to $120. projectsilvia.com had some nice 3" stainless ones for $60, so i just got off the phone with them and even went all out and paid an extra $40 for next day and it should be in tomorrow.

i really should've done this earlier, but an extra $40 won't kill me (better than $200+ at meinke), and this way i should have my car together this weekend
