No promises on this one... but it looks like this'll be our rental drift exhibition car!

If they're out of them by the time we get there, it'll be a Monte Carlo.

Shxxxt, man... when I made the reservation, the little icon in the window had 5 adult silouhettes - I went back to the written description of the vehicle profile, and it says two adults & two children. WTF? I'll have to call them tomorrow and set up something better. Fxxxcking Hertz.
That hurts, lol.

Oh, I checked distance... and Super Autobacs is about an hour from LAX, and another hour on to the hotel. I don't mind the drive if you guys don't... although we get in at 5pm - so we'll be hitting notorious LA traffic no matter which way we go.

Kay... I fixed the car rental reservation. We should have a Grand Marquis.

That should be plenty big for all five of us, and luggage/camera equipment. You better believe that car's gonna be stickered up for reals!

I'm all packed and shxxxt. Somehow I managed to cram enough camera equipment for an entire production team, a laptop, more power supplies than I can count, and iPod, 7 dM DVD's, a steady cam rig, vehicle suction cup mount, 3 walkie talkies, and zip ties (what is a trip w/o zip ties? lol), and a partridge in an fxxxcking pear tree into one peice of luggage that will fit overhead & a backback. There's some clothes in there too. I don't know how I did it. Nanotechnology, maybe.

Either way... I'm ready for hit Cali with brass knuckles.
