I will commend anyone that gets a S85 (M5 V10) to work in their car. I almost guarantee that no one off here will make it work.

P.S. Andy I would love to steal the M5 motor that stares me in the face every day this week in class for you. But I don't think the higher ups would like that.

See at least that is more feasible than the S85.

Ask them to donate it to a worthy cause.

Also... Brady, I think I'm healed enough to try and get that 5 series on the trailer. Let me know if I can swing by.
:D

Well its not just the wiring itself, its also in the computers. From what I have been told, the motor itself has three pentium 3 processors in the car that has to do 2 million calculations per second to run. Also they don't us knock sensors, they use ionic sensors that perform thousands of calculations and sends that back to the DME. Also there is NO throttle body on the car. The engine actually uses the valves to control the idle and air flow. BMWs valvetronic system allows them to not only control the incoming air but allows the cams to have variable lift. Anywhere from as low as .3mm all the way up to 9mm of lift. So I am not saying in any way it can't be done, because I have seen it done in a E90. However I was just saying since it was brought up, Im assuming as a joke of a swap. That no one on this board could pull it off.

I couldn't begin to tell you how much they cost. Im sure its not cheap, atleast 20k most likely higher.

"Oh I have faith, but this is a garage. Not a junkyard."

Come up with the electronics needed, and then I will have faith.
