• Scion in Drifting?

#1 question I always ask when the subject of a new RWD Corolla comes up, how many "drifters" would actually but them? Almost none b/c they already bitch about spending $1500-2000 on a clean AE86 and then continue bitching when they have to pay a premium for parts b/c its a niche market car.

It brings up a good point. I don't think there is a large market for 350z's either (because they're expensive), but there's a supportive aftermarket for the car, and there's a ton of 350z's competing in FD this year.

I think we'd be surprised how many people would get them... as long as the aftermarket support follows. You're always gonna get a few people who want to be the 1st to have one, you're gonna have your die-hard Toyota heads who may give it a shot, and even 16 year old kids who could convince their parents to help them get a newer more reliable Corolla, than an original eight-six.

I'm not saying the numbers would be insanely high... I just think they could be more than we think.

Give this about 1-2 years...I can get an 03 350z at auction for under 10k

with 100-125k on the ODO...everything happens in time, atleast you will see them pop up at smaller events for a while when the common man can afford them, not sponsored persons such as Chris and Tanner...

I say this because in the past year I have seen 5-6 350z/G35 owners pop up on the local board and the numbers are just increasing...

its really sad to think that My Zenki is a 95 and I can get 5500 for it tomrorow and I would only need 5-6k more to get an 03 350z

I would buy a NEW 86 if they offered it, but I agree most S13 and AE86 owners get huffy about prices on ANYTHING

if they made a rwd car you could finance,with a warranty, and 30+mpg etc it'd take a decent cut out of the civic/rsx/eclipse etc market and kids would want their parents to get them. it'd sell okay it'd be thrown in the other 4 cylinder economy sport cars but it woudl have a huge leg up because of rwd.

for the record, if new rwd toyota in the 15-20k range is ever confirmed for brawl i'm going to the dealership, putting in a deposit, and telling them i'm trading in my yaris for one. srsly.

I think AWD integras were produced for use in Europe.

Actually I believe Huy is correct, its a low performance model, but I think it comes with a system similar to the CRV. Remember seeing pics and information back on HondaTech years ago.

I dont remember that. I know the prelude had 4 wheel steering though. Maybe the 1g integra had awd, not sure. But the old EF civic station wagon DID have a 4wd option.

There was an AWD integra...

there was also a Factory TURBO civic produced back in the day
