I started getting notifications in my email that there were responses to forum posts again. Especially after Tyler's passing it made a warm fuzzy spot appear in my heart. I just started working on my own cars for the FOERST time in years instead of other people's. Great timing.

I do miss this place, though I didn't post as much as everyone else. I also didn't get on as much either, because I have this thing where I have to read EVERYTHING and I end up loosing hours of productivity. So, once I get caught up I try to stay on top of it but then get distracted for week on some thing and then I'm back to spending hours trying to get caught up.
It doesn't help that I read on a 5th grade level!

I miss it too. I've made it a habit again to check in regularly... but it's more often than not... pretty dead In here. Ziptied too. The world seems to have moved on... which I suppose was inevitable.
Forums still rule. I'll continue to come here... e'en if it is dead most of the time. This place is worth it... and as long as I'm alive - it'll be here.

even after you're gone, it wouldnt surprise me if someone took this over and carried on the legacy!!! now that would be cool!!!! multigenerational Drift Mechaniks talking about how to get their EV to slide around some old parking lot after turning off the autonomous driving feature

I'd have to set it up to be carried on somehow. I've unfortunately given it plenty of thought that a maximum of 1 year after I pass away (which hopefully is a LONG ways off)... the hosting bill will be due... not auto-renew because death cancels credit cards... and it all my sites go away in one fell swoop.
But until then... all of this stays FOR SURE.

50 more years would be amazing!!! I'm for it. I hate that I've e'en thought about this crap... but in the wake of losing so many people so close to me lately... my mind can't help but go there. So cheers to the prospect of 50 more years of hoodrat shit with our friends!!

Thanks for keeping it going buddy. Even with the lack of activity, it warms the soul to drop in and peruse every once in a while
