damn that's fuckin nuts. it doesn't look like that's what happened here but do drivers ever do that on purpose at that level?

do you mean spin into the gravel? i know the driver of the alms corvette spun it into the tires on purpose at sebring. he had a front brake rotor explode so he "shift locked" the rear wheels so he didn't go headfirst into a wall. i can't find the video though.
