someone needs to find a shop and get to work.

i would donate space but all i have is a parking spot in my apartment complex. there is a house for sale with a two car garage in martymartymarty.net's neighborhood.

tis a fine question. i think a lot of us are sorta short on space these days which won't be very helpful. oh well, we'll think of something.

has anyone come to the realization that a rotary is not going to run for 24 hours straight?

yah it will. na engine with already high miles doing about 60mph for 24 hours, that should work. if your to worried about it over heating and shit, then its time to ice box parts of the engine.

it'll run for 24 hours. just after that it'll run like shit and eventually assplode itself in some manner. rotary won Le Mans and then was promptly banned, they also got pushed out of whatever it was that Downing was running in. they are good for endurance for whatever reason, but not so much for daily driving.

i kinda doubt any of these cars will easily make it 24 hours, but that's the fun.

i kinda just want to go through the experience of making something totally ridiculous and then possibly blowing it up.

I trust an N/A rotary to last the whole race just as much if not more than most any other stock motor.

They are a lot tougher than most people know.

Word. My old GTU is a great example that those cars can take abuse. I relentlessly beat it at local events like turner and black hills circuit, plus the normal donuts/burnouts and daily redlines trying to get to work on time in the morning.

Not to mention i drove it to TN for a saturday event, toured nashville the next morning and drove back, totalling about 860 miles in a weekend.

That car STILL runs. It just gets rallyd in a backyard instead of daily driven/drifted.
