No go on HAL3250 shutdown. They got it where I can disable DSC with one touch of the button... instead of the secret 5-second hold-down - which is RAD. But they figured out that they couldn't eliminate ABS without prompting the same problems as pulling the fuses.
Munich suggested two things. One - take the ABS control module out, and cover the prongs that send the signal to the pump with tape. The other - put in a bad ABS control module. Matt and I are going to try the tape method 1st. Munich said they have several bad control units there if I want to try that route.
Also... on my way home from the last pizza meat - the fucking check engine light came back on. I know it is emissions-related. I can't find where my scanner is to find out though.

No-picture update.
For those that didn't know - the car had a catastrophic (non-motor) failure at Motorsport Nationals. While doing a massive standing burnout at the end of the FOERST 'proper' demo... it basically sounded like someone dropped a bag of marbles in the rear pumpkin. Power to the rear-end stopped immediately... and it sounded like the driveshaft was smacking the under-side of the car. Everyone helped push the car back to the pits... where we found that the driveshaft was fine... that it was probably the rear-end.
I pulled the car off the trailer today (really I let gravity do it's thing). With some help of our neighbor... Lieze and I got the car pushed into the garage. Got the car up on jackstands, and put the car in gear. The driveshaft does turn... so it really does look like it is the rear end.
We're hoping it's the ring and pinion. If it's the KAAZ... the car will be out of commission for a while.
[fingers crossed...]
