Wish I had the time/money/knowledge to build something diesel for drifty purposes. I'm still convinced that I could run it on biodiesel, paint it green, and end up getting tons of marketing dollars and such, haha. Maybe one day.

Do a swap! There are tons of diesel engines that would work in an average FR platform with some fitting.

i've been a few diesel cars and i can say they are sweet for putting around town but they suck ballzzzzzzzzzzz when you try to drive them hard.

^^ I beg to differ, I was driving one of our newer 335d's the other day, and that shit was sweet. Loads of tq, I actually talked to Cody after it.
