I was planning on it. But the Corolla has developed a short in the headlights and they turn off randomly. I might have time to fix it. If not, I'll have to leave around 3 on Sunday in order to make it back to SC before dark.

I'm hearing rumors that this event is and isn't a D1 Underground Qualifier. Whats the scoop?

Not that I really care. And I probably won't even look back at this thread before the event is over but I figured that I'd ask. I just like to ask when I hear weird rumors.

No it is and always has been. I think some people were just rocking the drift drama boat. Apparently what happened is the D1 guy in charge of updating the info in their system got replaced and the "application" fell through the cracks. Marcos knew it wasn't on the website but was not really concerned about it. Turns out even though he got a confirmation email from D1 the event never got listed in their system. Its all taken care of now.

BTW if anyone is going to this tomorrow and has a safety vest, could I borrow it? I don't think I'll have the time to run out to some random Home Depot and pick one up.

Doesn't look like Im going to make it

I had the Corolla packed and ready to go. When I got in the car to leave it didn't turn over. All fingers point to a bad starter.
But what really pisses me off is that I drove the fucking thing last night!!!!
