Well I guess that's how the Celica ST Liftbacks came
I wouldn't have known if I hadn't seen one in person a few years back (which looked even more like a mustang with the aftermarket parts it had on it).

i was really wondering how it fit/looked so right. that makes a lot more sense than some crazy japanese dudes grafting the ass of a classic mustang onto an old Celica.
