oh, my friend took pics with his medium format camera and will probably sell some of the prints. He will print them by hand on 11x17 (around that size) photo paper. Super sharp high quality pics. He will might even mat them if youre lucky.

He said he would sell the prints for about 30 bucks each if any of you are intrested in some professional quality shots. He isnt making any money, just costs abit for materials.

I have yet to see a pic of me on the track. So, if he has one I just might buy it. Of course I would like to see it before hand.

i'd also like to see the medium format shots sometime too, and i might also be interested in buying one of me if he has any good ones (and if his sales work sucessfully, i need to start trying that as my $2k+ in camera equipment still hasn't quite paid for itself yet ).

i will get him to make a (i forget what its called) sheet with all the pics on it, and i will post it up.

judging from the pics, andy's the only one with decent smoke. did he own everybody out there or what? fill in somebody who didn't make it because he has no willpower when it comes to playing video games.

GREAT pics man! You were snapping away! I was the guy in the gray visor-beanie chasing cones & driving the black e46. You were the guy with the cool-ass shoes, right? Did you have fun out there?! It's awesome being right there next to the cars. Especially around that FOERST corner. I wasn't paying much attention to my speeds... but that one felt around a 50-60 mph slide.

What kind of camera were you using?

Hahaha... I heard that the smokiest slides were between myself and the s13 hatch with the Laurel front end on it. I can't beleive I only went through one set of tyres based on the smoke output ol' grrrl was generating. I think Bridgestone Potenzas are bordering my new favorite tyre!

Andy always smikes em the best, IMO. I haven't learned how to do that yet, I'm guessing more gas.

I use an old ass canon AE-1 slr from the 70s. I have a vivitar series 1 wide angle lense and a canon zoom.

I will post the contact sheet tomorrow hopefully. they turned out really nice.

hey, yea, i'll try to get some contact sheets up tues, i'm just scrambling trying to get my final project ready for critique on wednesday. i also shot some B&W 35mm which i'll try to get done as well if you want something with a ye olde look at me racing back in the day epic type shot. the b&w i could probably only do 8x10... maybe 11x14 if i have some paper left, the color i'll print 16x20 till i run out of paper. i'm gonna try to get that stuff up soon cause the last day i'll probably be able to use the darkroom is friday. i'm not gonna be making any money, i'm just trying to cover the expense of the film, processesing, and paper.

edit:oh yea, and i'll give discounts in exchange for stickers...mmmmm

oh and for anyone else who is a camera nut like me, i was shooting with a Pentax 6x7 with kodak ultracolor and a Nikon F3 with tri-x. if i had known sooner about the event than friday, i would have bought some film and brought out the 4x5

i emailed clint the contact sheets so hopefully he'll have those up soon. its not my best work but its not bad, so i think final pricing will be $15 for 16x20 and $10 for 11x14 if you want them.... i'll get you a better deal for some stickers (esp. chrome ones )
