The ti blew the head gasket on the way back from the Mitty, so I'm searching for another car. Finding some real gems.

what year is your ti tony? m42 or m44? fix that shizz man. like nothing to fix. i repaired a bhg in a 97 z3 we bought, had the head decked .0018, replaced the broken plastic coolant pipe on the back of the head ..total cost including the top end gasket kit and the machining labor..under $300. the "BMW special tools required" is a bunch of junk..you just need to keep the cams aligned when removing and reinstalling the head. No issues in torquing the cam journals either. I know that it worked b/c I immediately dropped the motor into my race z3 and ripped the hell out of it..just to be sure
or sell me the ti, i'll be at fd and i will have the trailer since i'm dropping off a friends 302'd miata in mcdonough sunday.

I'm certainly going to fix it, or swap it. No rush, would rather buy something... was already in shopping mode after selling the WRX. Thanks guys

i dont blame you, i love my stock 185k mile 30mpg 95 ti dd.
just pick up an m50 for it and throw down in a weekend. there are a couple on BF.c right now for under $500
i'd sell you the m50 i have for cheap but i'm dropping it into the drift z3 to use until i finish gathering the 2jz parts

i know gas prices are pretty high and you're looking for a replacement for your DD but you NEED that nova.
you have the nerve to get it into the 8s. i believe in you.
