wassup guys. im new to the site and am very impressed. i am from Long island NY and moved to charlotte nc about four years ago. i recently won an auction for a 240 pignose hatch(will be daily driver/ show car) in boston and my uncle is takin care of the rust spots and paint at his shop in NY. i am also looking into buying a 1998 240 wit sum serious side damage strictly for drifting and track racing(street racing isnt good) Anybody know a good collision repair guy. And also i have a question: Would you need any type of insurance for a car dedicated to racing and if so where would i get it?

this is the 98 thats messed up. is it beyond repair b/c the highest bid rite now is 500.

good luck with both of them... the 98 is more work than i'd personally want to put into a car to get it rolling again but if you've got the time and money to do so then more power to you

and as for insruance on a competition vehicle, as long as it's not driven on the street there is no insurance required.

Buy the 98 if you can. Don't know about fixing it but you can part that for way, way more than $500.

yea, i'll take the good headlight and any other salvagable kouki front end parts if you wanted to sell .
