hooman and i made our way up to road atlanta on sunday to catch this and had a pretty good time. we got to see our share of neat stuff, from early 90's F1 cars to old nascars. there were also a lot of nice rides on display and we even made time for a little AWD drift action in the gravel parking lot :).
some of these shots aren't that great as we didn't have press passes or anything and had to shoot through fences (and lots of people), and i had sars and felt kinda lazy .

here they are though: http://www.codywellons.com/photos/may1

For all you hardcore MOFOs take note of the Lancia Delta Integrale HF. I about busted a load when I saw it. Cody was all like "What's so special about this piece a junk". I almost had to put the smack down. Needless to say that was my favorite car of the weekend.

Schumacher's F1 was running 1'10s, which is the reported fastest time on Road Atlanta. I can do 1'11s in my car since it has 900hp from a T56 plus I got a radio and roof in case it rains. What's up now Schuey?

I think that is actually a 90 or 91. I would have driven up there just to see that one car if I knew it was there. I spent the day working on the MR2 instead. :(

Yeah, the Lancia was based out of this museum in tennesse called Fast lane or Road Lane. It had a emblem of a road in an L shape as the Museum logo.

Who's up for a road trip to Tenn. to find this museum and steal some cars?

Off topic, anyone ever heard of the Lancia Hyena? It was a custom carbon fiber bodied integrale done by Zagato in a limited production run of 24. Initial plans were for a run of 500 but the project was killed by Lancia management.

Yeah, they did the Hyena project to compete with Alfa Romeo's SZ (ES30 in project stage). Trivia time bitches---what was the nickname of the Alfa SZ? hint= it's the name of a ducati model

Frogeye! I love those cars. I remember lusting after that in a Sports Car International when I was like 12.
BTW I think the nickname you were looking for was monster, but I have heard them called frogeye too.
