so hooman and i are thinking about postponing the trip to the AF museum and doing some urban biking tomorrow (later today actually, saturday) and wanted to see if anyone else would be down. i know martymartymarty.net and some of his crew is probably up for it, but if anyone else wants to hit up some spots around d-wood let me know, it should be fun.

oh man i wanna! but my gf is dragging me to the weezer concert tonight .

that's cool, it looks like it might not be too big today but we'll definately have to do a bigger one in the next couple of weeks now that a few of us over here have bikes .

Im down sometime, probably not tonite (saturday).

man, i should've just let the girl go to the concert and come out riding. i fuckin hate standing in big crowds of sweaty fat people that can't seem to move without stepping on everything in their path . i got trampled several times, couldn't even see the stage when weezer went on, and i still can't figure out what the hell that smell is i can't seem to wash off... i think i've picked up someone else's B.O.


but after the show was an adventure. my girlfriends friends decided to walk to the nearest gas station to grab beer before the cutoff time. so they ran from the parking deck at underground up mlk jr, then over piedmont rd to the nearest station (which was pretty damn far, around a mile through the hood). it was taking us forever to get there and they were starting to get scared because all of the bums were asking them for beer, so they decided to walk back toward underground to find us, so we had to circle back only to find them running from a bum down the sidewalk . they were at full sprint each carrying a 12-pack running from some crack addict wanting a beer, funniest thing i've seen in a while. i had to blow past them up ahead and throw the door open so they could dive into the car and we could make our getaway.

haha, that sounds pretty crazy!
but don't worry, we didn't really do much riding anyhow. i also ended up going to a show (punchline at the roxy) and took a pretty intense headbutt about 10 seconds into the show. my nose and lips were bleeding quite bad and my lip is still swolen, but luckily i can talk pretty much normally right now.
