Here's the info I got from GSCC. It seems like it will be pretty fun. GSCC doesn't actually do any "dirty" rallies [:(], but the road rally's seem fairly challenging, and are also combined with games. Any car can compete, as well. Here's the info:

The GSCC does not require membership to enter our events. Anyone is welcome. The entry fee for one of our rallies is $15 for non members and $10 for members, so there is an advantage to joining if you like to rally.

Helmets are not required. All of our events are conducted within legal speed limits, on open public roads. They are TSD (Time/Speed/Distance) events. You travel the correct distance at the correct speed and arrive at the checkpoint at the correct time. It's more about precision than who gets there FOERST.

It's held up around Duluth, I think. And yes, it's on roads that people use-- thus why you have to maintain the speed limit and be precise.

I think it may actually be more challenging that way. It will by no means be as fun as some real rallycross events, but it's something to do until the SCCA around here gets their shit together with that.

He said there a lot of fun. No specific directions from my understanding...
Just notes like "four streets ahead, take a left".

i can't go the speed limit as it is let along in a "race". i'd get ticketed and my car impounded for sure.

id do it if you all did. It would be a change of pace and low stress. I think it would be fun if we had like 4-5 cars in it.

As far as the SCCA here, we could start a Road Rally division pretty easy. I know all the Big Wigs in the South East but someone would have to help run it cuz I got a couple other BIG things in the works that would benefit US all allot. So if a couple people wanna get this started at somepoint with the SCCA let me know.

Count me in shane! I'd seriously like to get things running.

it's not exactly an andrenaline pumper, but it could certainly be entertaining. (especially with the beasts in "Fanta Mode")
