I got the 5spd in and drove the car tonight at like 2 am for the FOERST time. It feels way different than a bmw. hah. Shifting is alot mushier and much more throw, and the clutch is SOOoooooooo light. But i will get used to it.

My only concern is a wierd noist its making. In 1 2 3 and 5 when acelerating or decelerating there is a noise almost like a driveshaft rubbing on something, constant metal rubbing sound. I thought it was the driveshaft rubbing something when the engine was under load, but it wasnt. What could cuase this?

I know the clutch isnt slipping, and nothing that i could see was rubbing. its quiet in 4th gear and in the rest when sustaining speed. Do you think the noise is just gears that haven't been used in a months, (the tranny has been sitting dry for several months. I put mt-90 in it. Think it will go away?
