Tried to sell the corolla to this kid today. Oil light came on 10 miles from my destination. Pulled into a gas station for about an hour, calling people to figure out what to do. Filled it up with oil. Tried to drive back to my house, oil light came on again so I had to stop at cleveland ave near 19/41. Super ghetto. Added 4 more quarts, oil light was still on, but now had the check engine light as well. Tried to get onto the interstate but the engine gave way.

Dude just called asking about me selling the car, I told him the engine was blown, he offered me 1500 but I turned it down because I think I could still get 2k. I should probably call him back.

That sucks dude. I hardly ever hear about Toyotas taking a shit like that. We had a Corolla growing up and after ten years of abuse we sold it to my cousin and I thought that bitch would never quit. I saw it one time a couple years later after it had been passed around to a couple relatives and it was missing half of the shit under the hood, but still going strong. Try that with a fucking Sunfire.

I didn't know you had a Corolla. What year/type? I might be of assistance.

Its an 02 with 83k miles. WTF.

I sent the guy that offered me 1500 some pics, maybe he will pay that. OR hopefully I can find a junkyard engine for like 400.

ALSO: i called progressive to get it towed, they charged me 89 bucks, the towtruck guy made me sign papers that said he charged the insurance co. 45 bucks. Whats up with that??
