I was looking around on the net the other day trying to find information on Lola T-70 replicas(dad and I have been talking about building one for years)when I stumbled across a very cool company. http://www.race-car-replicas.com/ is a small race shop that specializes in vintage replicas done to a very high standard that are amazingly cheap. The T-70 for example is an exact body of the original. It is stunning the work that has gone into these cars. Their 917 is a tube for tube replica on the original chassis. Now at $26,495 for the basic kit to $43,995 for the deluxe super kit, they are not inexpensive but a steal considering the work that has gone into making these vehicles. Anyone know where I can find a Hilborn injection setup for a small block Ford? :D

Holy crap those are beautiful. That monocoque is incredibly nice, and the tube chassis on that 917 is incredible too. Those are all amazingly well done.

Superformance makes GT40 and old porsche replicas too don't they?

Some other porsche kit car builder is also remaking the early 70's 911 RS!!
