many thanks a billion times over to mr. sapp!!
yeah, my bike's alarm system's ignition immobiliser module decided to end itself while i was running an errand for work. aside from not being able to start the thing, i was ok...until it started raining. then i was just kinda stuck there in the rain. i made some calls and andy was able to make it with his trailer. i think i spent about 3 hours in the rain until andy could battle his way through rush hour traffic to rescue me.
when it happened i wasn't sure what was wrong with the bike so we just took it up to the dealership and they diagnosed it the next morning. got them to put on a new rear tire and ended having to ride home on that in the rain (fun). still think i need a chain though. any case, pandacycle is back in action and andy is my hero (even though he forgot to bring me my hoodie
).
also thanks to everyone i talked to on the phone helping me try to figure out what do and try to do to fix the bike on the side of the road with minimal tools!
