Hey guys. I already know several of you, its just taken me this long to go ahead and sign up here. Its been something that Ive been meaning to do for a while now. Well I'm Justin, I've been drifting corollas for 4 years now off and on. This is the main car I've been using. Its been a long time coming and its time to re-do several aspects of the car. This is what it looked like pulling it into the garage.

Started out by pulling everything out of the engine bay and doing some test cutting.

After come cutting and measuring:

Now the fun part, the dash support and column

Well thats how far I got today. I'll be posting more as things get done. I need to finish mounting the column. Right now its ghetto mounted. Thats as far as I could get without power tools and my beloved welder. I'm picking those up from the other garage tomorrow and the real fun starts. I've got alot planned for the winter, its gonna be a entirely new car in the end!

Actually . . . . . . I've had a SR mounted in one of my other corolla chassis. It was almost drop in. The S13 crossmember bolts into the 86 frame with little stretching of the rear bolt holes. 10 min with a file and poof. I have a pic somewhere . . . . .

Sapp, this is the little corolla you parked infront of at the Northpoint meet ages ago with your rattle canned monster of a SR5. You still have those crazy centerlines? I'm looking for a set for boro goodnes.

I remember that day... and my li'l SR5. I miss that car.
:(

I do have the Centerlines still. My friend Graham is buying them for his 240... but if for some reason he ends up buying something else, I'll let you know. I love they way they look on eight-sixes.
:D

Well is that deal somehow falls through, I'll take them. I have those SSR MK2's on there but they are a little too baller to play with them on. Yours are close to the same offset and will give me much peace of mind . . . plus my corolla has been dreaming of wearing centerlines for a while now.
