Me too! Maybe I'll take you up on that. I want to try and at least get the starter swapped... we'll see how that goes in my garage. I went to work on the BMW today, and got totally distracted by an oil change for the truck, installing the Jimmy Jammer plate in the doors of the truck. Then I fixed the wobbly Hellas on the truck. Then it got dark. So today wound up being truck day instead of BMW day.
Good news though...
Stupid ad valorem with the renewal made it $169. I bought a new starter with my discount from Global... it was $236.25... bringing the 'get the car back on the road fund' to $655.25... and I am already sort of regretting the decision to do this right now. I haven't even looked at the rear end, and I've already thrown a ton of money at this thing.

Anytime I ever lined up with this car to blaze some tandem.. Up front, bringing up the rear, middle, whatever. I just always thought to myself right before the floodgates of hell open at the starting line... "Hawt damn this shit is about to be buckwild". Always glad to hear it's getting some love

I'm gonna have to get this thing to a shop. I tried getting to the starter in my garage, and because me garage is so narrow I can't get the lift I really need out of the jack. There just isn't enough room for me to try and get to it. Also, they sure put it in a stupid fucking place.
It isn't looking good for getting this fixed before the Turner event. I just don't have time to work on it.
