ps. i found this.
http://lotus.roadfly.com/turboesprit/20 ... 00489.html

i also found this on a super moto forum
I emailed the guy and he said supermoto was going to be a central focus of this track.

Things are looking better and better down South...
and this on the same forum
Off of Mathis Airport road in Forsyth County. Its already zoned for an airport so noise restrictions wont be so bad.
Stay tuned for more updates as I get them
Mahogany lockers with personalized name plates
Private showers and bathrooms including granite countertops
Biometric fingerprint technology to access members lounge ~ no more key-cards or scanners
110 inch High Definition Projector/screen with Direct TV service
Kitchen area with granite countertops and all kitchen amenities

Large windows providing panoramic view of racetrack
Outdoor deck overlooking the racetrack
Black leather couches and numerous other seating options
Starbucks coffee machine
“Hands Free” automatic facets, soap and towel dispensers and toilets
"Track surface is up to 30 feet wide enabling numerous driver lines and strategies and was installed by the same professionals that completed Atlanta Motor Speedway’s design"
and i found this on at audi forum or something

Several years ago, my Dad caught word of something like this. But I think it was supposed to be in the Alpharetta area. He was thinking about investing in it... but as far as I know, the primary backer pulled out. I don't know if these are the same people or not.

I will say this... if the primary focus is going to be supermoto, and 2-wheel motorsports... maybe the name should reflect that? When I think "motorsports"... I think all kinds of racing.

Maybe that's just me.

It also seems like it would be near impossible to get zoning for anything like this because Americans are suuuuuuper whiney when it comes to noise. Road Atlanta gets complaints... and they are far from the city... and have been there for-evvvvvv-errrr.

Sounds interesting, I'll be looking into this. Agree with the name sentiment; luckily I'm setup for both 4 and 2 wheeled hooliganism.

If it is supposed to be near the airport, zoning shouldn't be a HUGE deal (though people will still whine about it). The times that they run events will definitely reflect on that.

A 30 foot track is a bit below average for a road course. 20 ft is your average karting course track width, with 35 being average road course. Narrow, but maybe it is mainly for 2-wheel. Hopefully they will have the common sense to try and accommodate all forms of motorsports.

I think in order for something like this to stay afloat... you have to cater to everything. Otherwise you cut your demand and keep your supply - which isn't good for business.

Yea... I know a thing or two about it

The owner is still waiting for zoning approval.
