We've got the cycwall for the entire day. Trust me, it will take all day to get everyone covered.
We have a lot of cars to snap, so you'll want to try and have your car all cleaned up Friday night.

For those of you who don't know what a cycwall is... it's a giant white (or chroma-key green) wall with a curve at the corners. When lit properly (or photoshopped right) you're able to disengage any foreground/background interpretation.
Remember the "Construct" scene from the Matrix, how they were on an infinite white background? This is how they acheived that.



We will be taking specific pictures of the cars, and their drivers... so wear something that you don't mind being seen on the site in, since the main objective of the day is to get consistent pictures for the team section. If you wanna look like a rawk star... this is your chance! We will be shooting video of the cars as well while they're against the wall, so we can edit the footage at a later date.

seriously....perhaps all of us wearing a dM shirt would look more "professional" (given that's what we are going for). $.02. either way is cool with me.

only problem with that is not everyone has one and we're also out of them.

Yeah, I'm still looking for any info as to the mysterious dissapearance of the remainder of our "Drifting is not a crime" shirts from HIN.

We'll see what we can work out for the group shots. I have one white, one black, and one grey shirt of my own... so I could let two people borrow them for the photos. We could rawk out like Steven Pearcy from RATT & runn it from that angle, LOL!

We'll work something out.

The building has been sold to an affiliate of the Speed Channel, and we have to be out in three weeks. The rest of us are all busy after this week until the end of September. We have to jump on this now, while there is time.

sadly, I'll be out of town this weekend too . However, I'll come back Sat. morning for the shoot and then go back to SC Saturday night.

andy...we/you going to be doing interior shots as well? if so....i should probably get my shit together and put mine back together.

sadly i can't make it back into town for a day. maybe someone wants to take my keys/car for the weekend and bring my car in for me? that could work. just don't mind the guard rail tap on the back bumper...hide that side or something lol;)

I only recall one conversation, and a short one at that.
Maybe you should have been there... then you would have known.

and maybe since we were on the phone, albeit short or not, you could have mentioned it since you were the one who was planning it. i couldn't make it up there, and that shouldn't prevent me from being told about official team things

i'd like to go, but i don't have a car to bring. oh well, maybe i'll show up for the hijinks.
