Kraut Drifter Introduction...
Hi my name is Axel, i am 24 years young and from SouthSideGermany.
My career startet with 5 years on a Dirtbike, then with 8 to Racekart and with 16 i started again on 2 Wheels with Supermoto. At the moment i am totally drift addicted. I started at March of 2006 on a German Racetrack at an Precision Driver Training with a German Touringcar/Rally Driver. At this time i had an 2004 330Diesel BMW Touring.
After that i bought a Stock E30 325 Convertible. Used that for 2 Years and then swapped to 340 with an 4Liter V8 out of 540i. I drove just a few Shows with that, it was not allowed to drive a convertible in German/Europe Drift Competitions so i put the Engine in a Kerscher Widebody E30. At the beginning of Last Season i got a BMW E34 M5 from a good friend of mine. He won French Drift Series 2007 with this Car and bought a silly Nissan Silvia S14 for 2008 and wasnt really good with his Silvia... Its okay buit its no BMW
For 2009 i bought an '96 328 E36. I am working at that Car at the moment. I stripped it from 1395kg dryweight to 1140kg with Fuel and Driver. I bought Supra 1JZ GTE Engine now. FOERST i wanted to swap to M3 but then i have only 321PS. With the Toyota Chaser Engine i have 376PS at the moment, more to come when its in the Car. Some of my BMW Friends dont like me anymore but i think its best of Both worlds
But now its enough of Words, let the pics speak:
not me but funny:

This is how my Federal 595 SS look like:
I heard E30 is really popular for drifting in US, so whats the most popular Engine Swap for it?
In Germany the most are with 3.6L or 3.8L M5 Engine because its nearly plug and play and used M5 start at 3000$ in Germany... Some like me try the unpopular way with the V8 but its hard to get manual tranny for it but youve got more tourque and better sound
Yepp i just wanted to introduce myself FOERST before i wrote crap, i am forum hoster by my own and i dont like guys who stress from FOERST post and you dont know who he is, where hes from and whats his ability.
