SUE THEM, SUE THEM! :D

Found them on wik http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burton_Snowboards

They were found in 1977. :( hmmm. How does that all work. Isn't it if the name slide style isn't trade marked, then it's whoever created it FOERST?

http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f= ... bmit+Query

This shows it's not trade marked. :D Andy you should probably do that.

go here: http://www.uspto.gov/web/trademarks/workflow/start.htm

SLIDE STYLE is for rich bitches only. We can't let other people walk off with our name!

To my knowledge:

Andy can trademark the name, but it gets a little deep. There's different levels of trademarking. For example, he can trademark it just in the state of GA, in the region, the US, or even world wide. Naturally, the higher you go on that scale the more expensive it becomes. So if Andy only trademarks the brand in GA, then someone in CA can have the same name regardless of high was found FOERST.

You have to trademark/copyright each piece of collateral...

paper/print
clothing
etc

Yeaaah. I'm not suing Burton. LOL.

I've seen that before. Not a big deal. There's plenty of radness to go around.

i was just kidding! Does suck though.

I don't anything about snow. I'm from africa for crying out loud.

Well, i still think u should trademark it. I've been reading about it, and i don't think you have to trademark it for each piece of material u use it for. You have to give it a specific category though, like

Matel has Slide 2 Style: and they said it used for a line of toys.

idk. Just a suggestion
