So this is hella last minute and I'm not even 100% sure on going, but it looks awesome and I think I might venture out to it. It's an old school hot rod show/big drive in festival thing at Starlight Six on Moreland tomorrow at 11:00 am and it goes until night. The huge downside is the price ($28), but the good stuff is that it's got tons of hotrods/ratrods/old school bikes, bands, and movies playing all day. Oops, I typed it wrong.

Just got back from it, went this morning and it was kinda fun. Way overpriced for what's there though, but it was still cool to see everything. I'll post up pics later.

It was waaay to hot to wait around on the movies and bands (absolutely no shade in the entire place). I can go back later with my wristband, if I get bored I might do that.

There is a free show in Pigeon Forge TN (right next to Gatlinburg) Sept 17th through 20th. It's called Rod Run. The cars are just lined up and down the strip for like 5 or 6 miles. They have the show twice a year, I was there last spring and that is why I came back and bought my 64 Galaxie500. I'm hoping to be able to drive my car out there next spring.

I love drifting and my Sileighty, but cruzin' in a big floater is cool too.

I was helping Rhoad moves... otherwise I woulda been HELLA down!!!

Hopefully we can make it to some other stuff like this eventually, I really wanna try to keep up with it a bit more and see what else is out there.
