yea I guess. they just announced a schedule. still not much info for drivers available but it does appear to be a series.

how many regional guys can afford to do XDC as a series? not too many.

seems that the current system is better. win your regional then get a chance to go against others at a single event that licenses new drivers. that helps to keep costs down a lot.
