came across this car at matts shop. this little car is nuts. ok I don't remember a lot of the specifics because I'm not a Jag guy but basically this early 1950s Jag was sent via container to Australia along with another 2003ish Jag. an aussie company there then retro fitted everything from the 2003 into it. supercharged V8, interior, controls, airbags, everything. then it got shipped back like this. car is gorgeous. pretty much unchanged exterior but with all the interior bits from the new one. matt said these guys did a couple for the queen of England. I can see why. not a bad way to spend a couple hundred thousand dollars.

That's nuts....my friend has an 03 S-Type R, and those cars aren't exactly slow. I can't imagine what it would be like to have that power in a chassis like that.

ps. all jags made before the 70s are cool.
pps. you can buy old jags on ebay for pretty cheap. some are dual over head cam straight six and manual trans. real wood and leather interiors.
