DGTrials Southern Fried Slide ***IN ATLANTA*** Dec. 4th 2004
Moderators: charlie, andysapp, CodyW, Rhoad Racing
I'll be out there as well. The RX-7's in about 4 million little peices though, well, to be more specific, the only thing still attached is the brake booster.
So, I'll be in a borrowed car definatly. Probably a 240sx all banged up, but we'll see. I'll be out there none the less. See you guys in a couple of weeks.

i think it is even worse being on the same continent. at least on the wrong side of the planet i had a good excuse for not being there. i hope no car and canada in between me and this event will work as a "doctors note". i want lots and lots of video. i wanna see what kinda shit yall are runnin down in atl. good luck "SUCKA'S". have fun
Well, I'm probably not going now. $90 is just too much to spend on a practice day and I'm tight on cash anyways. I still haven't decided if I'm going to watch or not. Part of me wants to go see it and have a good time, the other part of me wants to scream and kill people to get that close to the action and not be able to take a car out. I about shot some one at D1 at Road ATL out of frustration. We'll see....

Holy shxxxt, man. What an amazing fawking day!
I can't thank DGTrials enough for putting this event on. It was such a great day! 26+ runs??? Are you kidding? I've NEVER drifted at an event that you ran that much at. RS*R in Chicago gave me a lot of runs, only because everyone was on the big course... and nobody was on the small course - so a basically hotlapped the small course 'til I got dick of it... but that was a small course - no high speeds. Today was wicked better.
The course was laid out perfectly! High speed sweepers down into a tight technical section. The asphalt was great... only a few bumps here and there - but you could run to the outside and avoid them. Weather was perfect... tyre pressures on point (shouts to Gran Turismo East for supplying me with my RAD Potenzas)... the Atlanta skyline in the background... it was a picture perfect day to say the least!
BIG BIG thanks to DGTrials, Batlground, Finsh Line Motorsports, Drift411, SEDA, and dM for making this event a success. I can't wait until the next event there. It was fwarking incredible!
