Hmm... I found a set of used headers off a TMS World Challenge car...
Image

"These headers are for competition use only, and are tuned to work best from 4500-7200RPM."

I like the 45-7200RPM part. $750 over $1300 for new Supersprints is kinda nice too.

Back to my research... ;)

I'm not sure what to do about the headers just yet. It look like no matter which way I go (new or used TMS), I'll have get a complete new exhaust... or have one fabbed up. The headers dump to a 3" single piping... my UUC TSE has two 2.25" (I think) pipes running from the headers back. The cats are integrated into the stock headers too.

Either way... I need to get more power and more sound.
The research continues...

Bwaahahaha... I just thought of something else... typically my experience ordering from UUC is that it takes 3-6 months to get my shipment. Now all of a sudden things make sense as to why it takes that long, lol.

All lengthy shipments aside, I absolutely LOVE UUC's products. They are one of a kind, and it's always worth the wait!

hahaha...i bet all of the delivery guys keep driving in circles and ending up lost :).

those headers look cool too, and i don't think a custom single pipe would be too pricey. i've still got the turboN1 too if it could be incorporated in there at all :).

After looking at the headers I think it will be easy to fab some connecting pipes from each header to each exhaust pipe to keep the present exhaust. The deletion of the cats should significantly increase the volume and keeping it dual will keep the current exhaust note which sounds oh so nice. See if you can find out the collector pipe diameter of each header.

agreed... that would be an easy transition with some short sections of pipe and maybe a couple of reducers (depending on the size of the outlet of each individual header).
