Putting a LS1 in a 911 is kind of blasphemy.. you're basically taking away a huge part of what makes a 911 a 911.

Here are a few of my contributions: 911/993/964 only..

Hey! Check out this sweet exhaust I made for a customer's car! It's a 1977 911 Sypder!

...with LS1 and '04+ front and rear ends molded into it. :cry2:

This guy said that after all the dust settled he ended up making a couple hundred bucks from what he brought in by parting out the air cooled motor. I told him that he lacks appreciation for a passionately and beautifully engineered piece of automotive excellence and never to come back.

Eh, if it was a real 911 turbo when he got it I'd be a little upset. He said the motor was no good and if ya ask me having a 1900lb car that can put out 400-500hp sounds pretty awesome to me.

I am a little LS1 biased though...

Nice looking exhaust work and hilarious way to send him off.

i'm all for neato swaps and shit..

but there is no need to chop the top on a factory turbo widebody sheetmetal 911.

okay.. let's say.. he just put in the LS1 and kept everything else said and true to porsche.. i could tolerate that to a certain extent. but what he built was a piece of shit. more money/time than brains and appreciation for automotive history.

btw.. ranlet: your customer was an idiot for putting 993/964 bodywork on an early 911 cabrio. lol. hope you made some good bucks off of him. :)
