Fort Meade - HURRICROSS! 08/28/04

Post by FtMeadeRallyX »

Figured I've lurked here long enough, time to get official! We've got the rescheduled event info up on the web site now, so go check it out and register! It'll still be a wet one, so tune and tire appropriately. Plus be sure to bring an extra pair of shoes and don't forget to bag your mats! LOL! So don't be disappointed about missing the hurricane, just play harder. Here's the event link: http://www.planetarydomination.com/Rall ... 082804.htm

We'll have to host a benefit memorial hurricane rallycross in your honor to note the drive, determination and near suicidal attempt by you to make the 14th event.

Nah, just get your Subie butt down here in November!

PS: How about a standing invitation for practice and to help tweak the course? Feel any better? :P

oh hell yeah that makes me feel better! that would be awesome! I'm sure silonius would love to do it too if he can make that far of a drive;) with our combined FR and 4W powers, we'll get that course tweaked perfectly in no time.

Eh, don't feel lame. I went from roadracing for Kawasaki to SCCA EP to rallycross, and now I collect antique Caterpillars. If eBay had a tonnage record I'd have it! Getting shipping for something 11 tons is, umm, challenging. Oh, pricey too!

South Lakeland? Cool! Bring the 240, we've had 'em there before and they do well. Although it will be wet on the 28th. Maybe.

Cool! As long as it's not lifted you'll be in good shape. We had a Nissan Hardbody and a Toyota pickup that had bee turbo'd last time. Interesting, but not the quickest bunch. Just bring the 240! I'll tow ya in if ya get stuck! Here's the 240 that ran in March:

I'm hearing that a lot of y'all that registered for the canceled event are assuming you're registered for this Saturday. That's not the case, so please register if you plan on coming. How these events are organized is based on registrations, and even though I know through word-of-mouth how many are coming I can't expect the staff to commit on that. So please hit the website and register: HurriCross Registration
