well it seems i am a little late to this one, but it still kicks ass! glad to hear that it's runnin. i hope i get to feel the same feeling soon. i am rebuilding one of my sr's right now. as soon as my brother orders my bearings i give it about a day before it will run...sorry...congrats dude, job well done!!!

about 2.5... i have two complete swaps (engine, tranny, ecu...) and one long-term project block. it's wierd cus when i was opening everything i fount 5 sr engine harnesses...??? i only remember getting two... i dunno...all that and a poop load of spare parts. living in japan for ten years is a heaven sent for a pack rat like me.

oh i didn't know you lived in Japan. that explains the abundance of SR parts you have!

i'd love to live there and get the genuine RE Amemiya parts for my FC. they're lots cheaper there as well since they don't have to cross the "pond".

it's funny that you mention re parts being cheaper. i have a friend who has a fd with a full re super wide body kit. i think it was like 100mm over in the rear and like 60mm in the front. he actually bought it like that for ￥500,000 or about the same as $5000. then he blew the motor and thats where i learned how to rebuild rotaries, as well as bridge port in the back yard.

$5000 is cheaper then i could buy it for here just cuz i have to slap on the shipping charges.

oh well, even if i didn't buy anything from RE, i'd still love to have him tune my car atleast.

i think i've seen that widebody kit on an FD before. looks bad ass if its the same one i'm thinking of.

well i put about 150miles on the motor now. i've got a total of 588miles now. just 412miles left and they're going to fly by since i can now hit the highways! it'll be broke in by this sunday without a doubt!

i'm not sure if i was missunderstood or not but i was talking about buying the car itself + the body kit already on it for $5000 and a minor boost up tune.
