let us know how that megan manifold works out. since the ssAutochrome ones (the new version) are already starting to pop up with cracks, as per a few reviews on other forums, i'd be interested in this megan, as the exhausts and o2 housings ive seen before and they look really nice ...

brand new s15 turboes are like $699 min. but they're worth it. throw in some taka lines and aftermarket o2 housing if you dont already have that.

add in 550's (or 480 s15 injectors if u can find them), z32 maf, rom tune = 300whp. 320ish with cams.

shoot, i live about 15-20 min north of ft meade up in south lakeland! i'd bring the 240 out but its too low and would definately end up getting stuck too much.

my friend is using it on his 20v 4a-ge powered corolla. it's a good system if you have the means to install and tune it. his car is drifted, beat on, and spins out 9000rpm on ITBs all day with no problems.

I am going KA-T for the reasons listed above but also getting oil filters, gaskets, etc will be easier too. Its not like a Honda/Acura swap where both engines are sold in the U.S. I'd hate to have to try to source parts for a rb20 ot SR.

finding sr components is rather easy nowadays if u know ...

keep your obd1 ecu.
use your obd1 engine harness
swap intake manifolds
plug up egr pipe for hell of it
cap off unused vacuum lines.

done. its really that simple.


my 97 is obd1 converted. i pulled off everything obd-2 plus more. evap canister, egr stuff, 2nd o2 sensor, map/baro solenoid, map ...

Should be putting in the order for these 3 items (wastegate dump pipe included, but not pictured) in about 3 weeks or so. Still need injectors and turbo, and some small misc stuff that wont really cost anything.
